Stas Sokolinski
As a fellow, Stas interned in the office of the director general of the Ministry of Finance. His research supported the work of the inter-ministerial committee on market competitiveness in Israel.
Prior to joining the Milken Fellows Program, he served as a research assistant to Professor Eugene Kandel, currently the head of the National Economic Council in the Prime Minister’s Office. In addition, Sokolinski was an instructor and teaching assistant in economics at the Hebrew University.
In the military, he served in an infantry combat unit.
During his studies, Sokolinski won the economics program scholarship for academic excellence, the Department of Economics excellence prize and prizes for outstanding accounting student.
He holds a B.A., magna cum laude, in economics and accounting and an M.A. in economics from the prestigious program for financial economics, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Currently, Sokolinski is pursuing a PhD in economics at Harvard University.
