Maya Haran-Rozen
As a fellow, Maya interned in the Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Division in the Ministry of Finance. Her research focused on alternative pension products for longevity risk and also evaluation of the status of the implementation of the Bachar report.
Prior to joining the Milken Fellows Program, Haran-Rozen worked as a research assistant in the Public Sector Division of the Bank of Israel’s research department. Her work included a discussion paper on the effects of government consumption on the current account. In addition, she participated in studies of the mandatory pension law and the performance of local governments, among other topics.
In the military, Haran-Rozen served in an elite intelligence unit.
She holds a B.A in economics and business administration and an M.A. in financial economics, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Currently, she is PhD candidate in business administration at the Hebrew University and works at the Bank of Israel.
