Omer Ben-Zur
A two-year fellow (2002-04), Omer interned with Knesset member Amnon Cohen. His 2002-03 policy study focused on religious councils in Israel, while his second-year research explored small businesses’ access to government procurement opportunities.
Prior to joining the Milken Fellows Program, Ben-Zur worked at Atrium Engineering & Building Ltd., where he was a project manager, supervising a construction crew and coordinating the work of 10 subordinate firms.
During his mandatory IDF service, Ben-Zur received the “Outstanding Soldier Award” from the Israeli president.
Ben-Zur holds a B.Sc in industrial engineering, with a concentration in management and information technology from Tel Aviv University, and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management with a concentration in finance and real estate, graduating with honors.
During his studies, Omer interned at SunCal Co., the largest privately-held developer of master-planned communities in the Western United States, and at First Industrial Realty Trust, a large U.S. real estate investment trust. After graduating from UCLA, Ben-Zur became assistant vice president at George Smith Partners, a leading U.S. real estate investment banking firm.
Currently, Ben-Zur serves as managing director at Soffer Ben- Zur, Dekel Capital Inc.
