Small Business Access to Government Procurement in Israel

This research focuses on improving the access of small businesses in Israel to government contracts. The recommendations of this report include:

  1. Increase the number of procurements that publish tenders.
  2. Remove minimal requirements clauses for tenders.
  3. Publish tenders on a publicly-accessible website, instead of requiring payment for access.
  4. Lessen the amount of bank guarantees required in order to apply for tenders.
