Teacher Quality in Israel

To improve teacher quality in Israel, this report recommends:

  1. Yearly evaluations that are systematic and uniform across the entire country, with the goal of measuring the achievements of students.
  2. Training for teachers that would be provided within schools themselves.
  3. Expanding the autonomy of individual schools in addressing teacher quality.
  4. Providing monetary incentives to teachers and schools for student achievements.
