Licensing of Businesses in Israel

This research focuses on the current business licensing process in Israel, and concludes that it does not address the major barriers of starting a business in the country. The research concludes that the regulatory environment surrounding business licensing costs the economy approximately NIS 1.5 billion in inefficient allocation of resources each year.

Because of this, the study recommends that the process be revamped, and provides some guidelines to advance the creation of a more fair and efficient process.
