This research undertakes to analyze credit information which is collected in Israel, in order to recommend certain ways that such credit information can be used to overcome credit barriers experienced by small and medium enterprises.

The research also includes comparisons with other credit information systems from around the world, and recommends a number of ways in which the gathering of credit information can be improved so that SMEs can have better access to necessary loans and capital.
