Acco: The Fall and Possible Rescue of a City

This research provides an in-depth look into the economic situation and prospects of Acco, a city of both historical and contemporary importance in the North of Israel.

The study provides recommendations for growing the private sector in the city, as well as specific proposals that could serve as the engine of economic growth, such as increasing the number of students in the city, as well as the implemention of business improvement districts or tax increment financing opportunities.
