Food Surpluses and Food Insecurity

This research focuses on food waste, agricultural policy, and solving the issue of hunger in Israel.

The study recommends a number of ways to provide food to Israel’s hungry citizens through creating more efficient systems vis a vis excess foodstuffs, including creating a mechanism which connects the Ministry of Agriculture and non-profits, and will be responsible for organizing the donations of unsold foodstuffs.
