The Establishment of Home-Based Businesses as a Means of Combating Poverty among Women in Israel

This research focuses on the use of home businesses as a means to fighting poverty among women in Israel. The lack of financing for women-owned home businesses is a major structural barrier to their expansion, and as such the government must work to expand credit access by widening the sources of credit available.

The study also includes a number of other detailed recommendations to encouraging the growth of home businesses owned by women throughout Israel.
