DiSegni was a research advisor to fellow Yuval Nueman.
Currently,Research Scientist at UC Berkely. DiSegni is affiliated with the Berglas School of Economics at Tel Aviv University. Her research interests include resource and environmental economics, market mechanisms and trade at the national and international levels.
She has ongoing projects on sustainable agriculture and fishery management supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Water Authority, and she leads research on financial mechanisms for ecosystem conservation at the Milken Institute.
DiSegni earned a Ph.D. in natural resources and environmental economics from the University of California at Davis after obtaining a master’s degree in agricultural economics and management from Hebrew University and a bachelor’s in economics from Tel Aviv University.
