Tourism Tax in Jerusalem: Promoting Tourism Development

This policy brief highlights best practices for the design and implementation of a regional tourism tax. It includes an examination of benchmark cases from around the world, how they may be translated and adopted for the Jerusalem region, and an estimation of the financial impact from such a tax in Jerusalem.  The goal of such a tax would be to strengthen tourism infrastructure and assets to leverage growth in the region.
