Models for Cooperation with Development Finance institutions
The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice. The SDG’s face a financing gap that has soared to up to 2.5 trillion per year, while in developing countries the financing gap is even higher.
The current research examines project finance models to adapt and transfer technologies addressing the SDG’s targets together with multi-lateral development finance institutions. The research shows that there is enormous potential in improving and expanding cooperation between the Israel and multi-lateral development institutions and introduce new set of recommendations for innovative collaborations models.
