Green Building in Israel- Benefits from Wide-Scale Adoption

Unlike the green building trends that characterize other developed countries, in Israel building and renovating according to green principles is few and far in between.

This research endeavors to understand the potential impact of a wide adoption of the new green building requirements in Israel (ordinance 5821, 2011), through an economic impact forecasting study of the years between 2011 and 2020.
